FMi Logistics – Changing Lanes:
A strategic merger to provide National Freight Management.
Calgary – August 9th, 2010 —FMi Logistics Incorporated, a Western Canadian based 3PL with core disciplines in Commercial Warehousing & Freight Management has acquired the assets of Changing Lanes Ltd – a Calgary based Freight Management Firm.
FMi is bullish on the North American recovery, and has invested in this acquisition as a strategic means to expand its overall Freight Management program, and Integrated Warehouse Services expertise.
FMi will appoint the former founding owner of Changing Lanes Ltd, Daniel Leavens to Managing Partner of FMi Freight services.
“Through Dan’s successful career in the North American Freight industry, and during the development of his brand – Changing Lanes Ltd, Dan has consistently delivered expertise in the area of volume based Freight Management services,” says President of the FMi Group Darryl Stanier.

Leavens brings more than 35 years of transportation industry experience, most recently as founding owner of Changing Lanes Ltd, and previously in executive capacities within the Canadian LTL carrier industry.
